My research focuses on biodiversity conservation through systematic conservation planning and evidence-based environmental decision-making. I have worked across both freshwater and terrestrial ecosystems, developing species distribution models, managing large biodiversity databases, and identifying priority areas for conservation. My current interests lie in integrating ecological networks, genetic diversity, and biodiversity threats into conservation planning frameworks to improve conservation outcomes. More recently, I have also become interested in nature-related risks, particularly how biodiversity loss can affect businesses and society.
